![]() You begin by adding pictures, either singly or by folder. If you do some cleanup between the Align Photos and Build Dense Cloud steps the quality of the final model can be improved drastically. The workflow dropdown menu is laid out in order: Add Photos-Align Photos-Build Dense Cloud-Build Mesh-Build Texture. For smaller models that you want to get from all angles, you can get one or more chunks with the object upright, then one or more chunks with the object upside down. You might use separate chunks to speed up the modelling time by processing smaller sets of photos at one time. I most often use the configuration seen in the picture, though I often close the console pane if I'm only working with one set, or chunk, of photos.Ĭhunks are separate sets of photos that can be merged after going through the entire workflow in each set. The panes can be moved by clicking and dragging if you want to customize your view. These, and the toolbar, can be shown or hidden by clicking view>panes> then selecting which ones you want to display. There is also a console pane which gives text information on the processes being run.
